Ed has been involved in circus since his early teens where he was a participant at Albert & Friends Instant Circus and later learnt to become a facilitator. Has been actively teaching circus since 2000 and over the years has taught for A&FIC, National Centre for Circus Arts, Jacksons Lane, The Albany, So&So Circus Theatre and Nearly There Yet as well as running and delivering circus projects for Hoxton Hall and The Roundhouse. Since 2016 he has been the mentor for the Roundhouse Street Circus collective and has overseen the groups training and creation of performances in collaboration with a number of professional companies and artists such as Wayne Mcgregor, Lina Johannsen (Mimbre Acrobats), Simple Cypher and Barely Methodical Troupe. The Roundhouse also sent him to deliver training at the Palestinian Circus School in 2017 as part of their On Mass International performance exchange.
Ed has also been working with Nearly There Yet since its establishment in 2015 touring its family productions The Party and Pinocchio as well as being one half of The Flying Bazazi Brothers. He is also a member of Simple Cypher and is currently touring their show Roll Play as part of the 2021 Without Walls programme.
